Optima Consulting Partners defy the downturn with exponential growth in 2009

Optima Consulting Partners, a leading technology sales firm, is defying the current trend and achieving exponential growth in 2009 across Europe and into the USA. Inside the first two months of this year Optima have increased sales by 40% over the same period the previous year, increased net profit by 60% over the same period the previous year, have a forward order book that was 100% bigger than the same period the previous year and has 50% more employees than at the same stage in 2008.

So how have Optima enjoyed such success and growth amidst tales of banks collapsing or being nationalised, an ever increasing dole queue and small businesses going to the dogs?Technology companies have reacted positively to Optima?s premise that quality is more important than quantity. In a downturn economy budgets are being cut and the decision making process is being pushed to the top. More time is being spent in the negotiation phase as buyers try to reduce cost. The need for technology companies to focus on direct marketing and lead generation has never been greater as it becomes increasingly difficult for companies to commit to capital and operational expenditure in uncertain times.

Optima?s Chief Executive Graham Curme explains "We have experienced tremendous growth during the past 6 months as Technology companies have focused their activities on more direct lead generation activities and have, in most cases, expressed a need for experience, expertise and quality. We do not foresee any slowdown in demand in the future and are implementing expansion plans, including further expansion in Central and Southern Europe through our Munich and Paris operations."
